The Ministry of Education runs its scholarships and study grants through an online Scholarships and Grants eService on moe.gov.bh. Everything happens there, from choosing what to study to receiving payments.
Through it you can:
- submit your study preferences and later view the scholarship results;
- appeal a result, decline it, defer it to the next year, or convert a scholarship into a grant;
- complete the paperwork, renew payments, request travel tickets and update your bank details.
Timing: for the 2026-2027 year the ministry announced the opening of registration on 5 July 2026 and announced the results on 29 July 2026, so watch the ministry's official announcements in early July.
Registration is only open for a set period, so prepare your choices early. A user guide for the eService is on the ministry's page.
