You can look up and pay traffic fines online without visiting the traffic directorate. The General Directorate of Traffic's service runs on bahrain.bh, in the eTraffic and MyGov apps, and at iGA kiosks.
What it costs: fines range from BHD 5 to BHD 300, depending on the violation. Online you pay by debit or credit card; the payment is processed within one working day.
How to search: choose how to look up the fines: by Bahraini vehicle number, GCC vehicle number, driver details or ticket number.
If you search by vehicle, you see every fine recorded against that car, including ones committed by someone else driving it. If you search by driver details, you only see the fines you committed yourself in vehicles you own. Check before lending or selling a car.
Fines sent to court cannot be paid through the normal service until the court has ruled. After the verdict you pay through the Payment of Criminal Orders service on bahrain.bh, or settle it in person at the General Directorate of Traffic.
