How do I get a P.O. Box in Bahrain and how much does it cost?

A private P.O. Box is rented from Bahrain Post and opened at one of its post offices.

Cost (per year):

What to bring: your ID card for a personal box, or the commercial registration (CR) for a business box. Bahrain Post may ask for other documents.

You apply at a post office counter, fill in a form, pay and collect your keys; the service takes one working day. You can pay by debit or credit card, cash at a TAM kiosk, or Sadad. Renewals can be done online through the Renew P.O. Box Subscription eService on bahrain.bh using your personal (CPR) number.

Post offices keep short hours: most branches are open Sunday to Thursday, 7 AM to 3 PM, and closed Friday and Saturday. The Bahrain Post hotline is 80001100.

  2. Take your ID card (or the CR for a business box) to the counter.
