The municipalities run a Virtual Cleaning Services Center for booking waste collection, and the national service catalogue has a general waste-removal request.
Book a collection online
- Use the Virtual Cleaning Services Center on the municipalities' website. You can book on the site or by video call.
- It covers recycling, green (garden) waste, bulky items such as old furniture, sewage tank emptying and building waste.
- Choose your municipality (Capital, Muharraq, Northern or Southern), then a date and time slot, and give your email and mobile number.
- The cleaning company then contacts you on WhatsApp to arrange the pickup.
Other ways to report waste
- The "waste elimination" service covers household, farm and building waste. You can ask by phone, through Tawasul, or in person.
- Give your name, address and contact number, the exact location, and photos if you can.
- It takes about 1 working day. No fee is listed.
The catch: the waste service comes under the Cleanliness Law (Law No. 10 of 2019), so book a collection rather than leaving bulky or building waste by the bins, and put items out only on the agreed day.
