How do I report stray dogs in my area in Bahrain?

Stray dogs are handled by the municipalities. According to the municipal affairs FAQ, you can report them in three ways:

• Call 38099994
• Call 17155363
• Report through Tawasul, the national suggestions and complaints system (bahrain.bh/tawasul)

What to give: the exact location (area, road and block, or a map pin), roughly how many dogs, when you usually see them, and whether any have been aggressive or hurt.

The catch: a report gets the municipality's team to come out, but it isn't an emergency line. If someone has been bitten, get medical care first. Tawasul gives you a reference number to follow up if nothing happens.

Steps

1. Note the location and how many dogs you see.
2. Call 38099994 or 17155363, or file a report on Tawasul.
3. Keep the Tawasul reference number to follow up.
