Al Areen Wildlife Park & Reserve is a nature reserve and zoological park near Zallaq and the Sakhir area in western Bahrain, located close to the Bahrain International Circuit. Established in 1976 as the country’s first natural reserve, it combines landscaped visitor enclosures with a protected breeding reserve focused on conserving Arabian species such as the Arabian oryx and sand gazelle alongside other regional and African mammals and birds.
