Local tips
- Be sure to bring exact change in Bahraini Dinars (BHD) if possible, as the counter staff frequently run out of smaller change for administrative fees.
- Double-check official public holidays for both Bahrain and Ethiopia before visiting, as the consulate closes on national Ethiopian holidays (such as Enkutatash or Timkat) which may not be marked on standard Bahraini calendars.
- • Photocopiers are not widely available in the immediate residential neighborhood of Tubli, so make sure all passport copies, CPR copies, and visa applications are printed out fully before you arrive.
