Public & farmers' markets · Salmabad, Bahrain
Bahraini farmers, beekeepers and date growers every Saturday in winter, at Budaiya Botanical Garden.
Fresh local produce, honey and dates, straight from the people who grow them.
The Bahraini Farmers' Market is one of the Kingdom's most vibrant community initiatives, designed to connect local farmers directly with consumers, improve food security, and showcase home-grown agricultural produce. First launched in 2012 under the directives of HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, the market highlights a surprising variety of fruits, vegetables, dates, and honey grown right in the desert environment.
